Actor, Singer, Dancer, Musician, Writer
ABOUT
Isabella Thompson is an performer, writer and movement director whose tenacity and drive know no bounds. Inspired by the weird and the wonderful, her approach is influenced by and grounded in her extensive and varied ventures into Meisner, Shakespeare, physical theatre, clowning, musical theatre, singing, dance and screen-work. Proudly making her own way into the industry, Isabella continued to challenge convention by deciding against full-time drama school after her degree in Theology at Durham University, during which time she had landed two professional roles and was a core member of Durham Student Theatre. After graduating, Isabella trained for a year at ArtsEd in Musical Theatre. She has been represented and mentored by the industry legend, Esta Charkham (Esta Charkham Associates) for over a decade and has obtained a number of Film, TV and theatre credits. As a writer, Isabella loves developing unique (and often whacky) ideas for the stage and editing scripts for fellow playwrights. She is a sought-after reviewer at the Edinburgh Fringe, writing for The Skinny and Broadway Baby for the month in addition to Operation Live Theatre in London for the rest of the year.
